305 Labels Expands Digital Printing Capacity with New HP Indigo 6K Installation
305 Labels, FIG10's premier digital printing and packaging subsidiary, has announced the successful installation and commissioning of its newest HP Indigo 6K Digital Press.
The addition of the HP Indigo 6K significantly increases the facility's output capacity for high-definition pressure-sensitive labels and flexible packaging, meeting the growing demand from the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and specialty food sectors in North and Latin America.
“This investment reflects our commitment to providing our clients with the most advanced printing technology available,” said Marcus Chokshi, CEO of FIG10. “The 6K platform allows us to deliver even tighter color consistency, faster turnaround times, and expanded finishing capabilities like metallic foils and tactile varnishes.”
Industry-Leading Precision
The HP Indigo 6K is renowned for its ability to match up to 97% of the Pantone® color gamut using its 7-color station configuration. For 305 Labels' clients in the liquor and beauty industries, this translates to perfect brand color representation across every print run.
The new press also supports a wider range of substrates, including heat-shrink sleeves and sachet materials, allowing 305 Labels to offer a more diverse portfolio of flexible packaging solutions from its Opa-Locka headquarters.
"Our goal is to be the agile partner that helps brands stand out on the shelf. This expansion ensures we can handle the most complex design requirements at scale."
The expansion is expected to create 15 new high-skilled jobs in the South Florida area, further strengthening FIG10's role as a key contributor to the regional industrial economy.
